Ziad is a Senior Director at Broadgate Advisers and BY Venture Partners, heading MENA coverage.

He has more than 25 years of professional experience including Chief Executive roles in the UAE and Lebanon, and management consulting / advisory roles covering the MENA and GCC region. Prior to joining Broadgate & BY, Ziad has been a Senior Advisor with Alvarez & Marsal Middle East supporting their rapid regional expansion and actively contributing to multiple high-profile turnaround & restructuring engagements. Ziad was the CEO of Debbas Holding, leading his centennial family group’s international expansion in the GCC, India and Africa.  Ziad started his career in management consulting in Saudi Arabia with Arthur. D. Little International.  He is an active entrepreneur, having founded and led two technology start-ups.

Ziad holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from Concordia University in Montreal and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
